Meet the Skillzians: Stories from Our 2025 Operations Co-ops
What do brand building, business planning, and human resources have in common? This crew.
We currently have 22 Co-ops contributing across our Las Vegas headquarters, supporting everything from operations to engineering. The program plays an important role in developing future teams and strengthening the Skillz talent pipeline.
From Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Florida to the local University of Nevada, Las Vegas, each student brings a fresh perspective on storytelling. Working in areas like social media, communications, and financial planning, they are scripting brand moments, writing internal updates, and translating data into actionable insights.
And while the work is serious, the vibe definitely isn’t. You can see it all in this short video.

If you were a Skillz game character, what’s your special ability?
