Skillz is proud to be highlighted by the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA), spotlighting our 2023 headquarters move to Las Vegas. In the feature, our CEO and Head of People dive into what makes this city’s community and talent ecosystem so exciting.
“LVGEA and GOED were incredible partners throughout the relocation. Their support is emblematic of why we chose Las Vegas. The business community here is collaborative, forward-thinking, and genuinely invested in innovation.”

Why It Matters
Skillz is proud to be part of a new wave of companies helping diversify Southern Nevada’s economy. By bringing competitive mobile gaming to Las Vegas, we’re introducing a new entertainment vertical to a city already rooted in fair play, competition, and innovation.
We’ve grown to more than 100 employees in Las Vegas, with 42 Skillzians relocating from across the country spanning roles from entry-level to executive leadership. We’re also investing heavily in local talent pipelines, from co-op programs that bring in top student talent.
As Nicole Singleton, our Head of People, put it:
“We’re not just hiring to hit a number. We’re hiring the right people at the right time, and building operations excellence in Las Vegas. The city’s culture of hospitality and experience makes it the perfect fit for Skillz.”
What’s Next
Las Vegas is more than just the entertainment capital of the world, it’s becoming a hub for technology and innovation, and we’re proud to be part of that transformation.
A big thank you to LVGEA and GOED for their ongoing support as we grow our presence in Nevada and build the future of mobile competition from our Las Vegas HQ.
