Got a Real-Time Racing Game or Mobile FPS? We Want to See It.
The Skillz $75 Million Developer Accelerator is open for applications and we’re looking for the next competitive mobile hit. We are looking to reimagine what you think skill based gaming is today.
If you’ve already built or are building something bold like a mobile real-time racing game, FPS, or a MOBA-style brawler, as well as many other genres, we’re here to help you Skill-enable it, scale it, and turn it into a monetizable competitive experience.
What We’re Looking For
In addition to successful skill based genres, We’re actively seeking competitive titles in categories like:
- Real-time racing games that go beyond time trials and deliver head-to-head action
- Mobile FPS games that bring Battle Royale intensity to bite-sized sessions
- Hyper-casual concepts reimagined for real-money competition in the Skillz game arena
- New spins on traditional sports like golf, bowling, or even pool made for mobile
And more – pitch us on all ideas!
If your game is easy to learn, hard to master, and built for repeat play, you’re already thinking like a Skillz creator.
Let’s see your racing game
When we talk about expanding the types of games on the Skillz platform, we’re thinking about entirely new genres—ones that haven’t yet had their moment in skill-based gaming. And racing games? They’re at the top of that list.
Despite being one of the most competitive, adrenaline-pumping genres in traditional gaming, racing games remain underrepresented on Skillz. And that’s a huge opportunity.
As Andrew Paradise said recently on the Deconstructor of Fun podcast:
“Where are the racing games? There are no racing games. And racing is another one where—I’ll tell you—we’re in Las Vegas right now, and every weekend there are illegal street races just outside of town where people race for their cars. And you probably say, well, why do they do that? It’s like Fast and Furious. That’s actually… Fast and Furious is based off that. It’s kind of awesome. But my point being this: we’re going to see these new genres over the next three to five years… racing is one of them.”
Racing games naturally lend themselves to real-time competition, fast-paced decision-making, and high replay value—all ingredients for successful skill-based titles. The Skillz Developer Accelerator is actively seeking studios ready to tap into that energy and bring the first breakout racing experience to our platform.
