Fairness is core to our identity at Skillz, and we stand with those calling for change.

The ongoing protests show just how deeply the anger and resentment over racial injustice is felt in our communities, and how urgently our country needs to address these matters. 

We support the Black community and the Black Lives Matter protesters by standing in solidarity with our employees, players, and developers who are advocating for justice.

Skillz wants to be part of building a world that lives up to our ideals of fairness. 

We are redoubling our commitment to diversity and inclusion, strengthening our diverse hiring goals, and committing to be better allies to all underrepresented minorities.

Skillz will also implement an employee match for charitable gifts and leverage our mobile games platform to support organizations advancing equal rights and racial justice in Gaming For Good charitable tournaments this month.

We urge our employees and partners to support the important work of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Black Lives Matter, the Center for Policing Equity, and the Official George Floyd Memorial Fund on GoFundMe, and to learn from experts on Talking About Race and creating a Racially Just Workplace.
